ELF - Golf Day!

Cathedral Financial Management was extremely pleased to be the main sponsors of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) Charity Golf Day at the Exeter Golf and Country Club on Thursday 16th June 2016.

Hosted by ELF Patron Steve Rider the day was a great success with teams teeing off from 8:00am and unexpected wall to wall sunshine throughout. The newly arranged course was in tip top condition and with a score of 49 the team from Handelsbanken were the eventual winners.

Cathedral Financial Management also managed to get on the podium with our own Chris Brocksom winning the nearest the pin competition!

From us and also on behalf of the ELF charity we would like to thank everyone who supported the event and who helped to raise vital funds for the important work of ELF.

Forged in stars

This decorative and symbolic female Rhino has been painted using the stone and decoration found in and on Exeter Cathedral. She has been named Cath.

Metal, stone and life, forged in stars; all precious on this small planet.

The Cathedral is an iconic building. We must ensure we preserve it for generations to come. The preservation of the Rhino is also paramount and ‘Cath’ reflects the correlation of the two through the stone, the gold leaf and the Rhinoceros as a symbol for life on a very special planet.

Cathedral Financial Management are a gold sponsorship of the 2016 Great Big Rhino Project. A project which brings over 40 life-size Rhinos to the streets of Exeter and the English Riviera this summer, from Saturday 30th July to Sunday 9th October and forms a mass exhibition of free public art, whilst raising awareness and funds to help this Critically Endangered species.e

The CFM Rhino will be sited in Southernhay.
